The Dwight “Screamer” Wells Foundation was established to honor the life and legacy of Dwight “Screamer” Wells, a man remembered for his kindness, generosity, and commitment to his community. His impact continues through a Foundation built around the values he represented—showing up for others, supporting young people, bringing families together, and creating opportunities for positive change. Through our work, Dwight’s legacy continues to inspire the next generation.

Our mission comes to life through programs and community events focused on youth development, violence prevention, health awareness, mentorship, and family engagement. Initiatives such as Bikes Up, Gunz Down and our annual Screamer Day bring residents, organizations, businesses, and community leaders together to create positive experiences and opportunities for Miami’s youth. By working alongside the community, we help young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, and see possibilities for their future.
